Maya wants her bike ready for a weekend ride. She adds “Book bike service”, chooses 14 May 2027 as her date to arrange it, and sets a reminder for 7 May. The example gives her a week to contact the workshop and find a suitable slot.
Choose dates that fit your own plans and the advice of your repairer. A reminder is not a diagnosis or a service booking. You do not need to invite anyone else to get started.
A reminder should lead to an action
When the nudge arrives, Maya knows what she meant to do: contact the workshop. A specific title helps more than a vague “Bike stuff”. She keeps only the useful date and next step, without uploading receipts or documents.
After making the booking, she marks that job as done. If the appointment itself needs a reminder, she records the confirmed date separately.
Keep it as simple as you need
Your own reminders can stay personal. Add someone else only when their involvement is useful and you choose to share. Reminder Tracker is being prepared for early access; the film shows illustrative screens rather than a recording of someone’s account.
A small plan now can save a last-minute scramble later. Then the weekend can be about the ride.
